I was just there and was very impressed by their service and care. I needed a prompt surgery and they handled it right away. My German is very basic, and they made a great effort (even those who didn't know English) to communicate and make me comfortable during recovery. They should be proud of what they are doing.

I have been in this hospital six years ago after breaking my ankle. We were visiting my daughter and her German husband and grandchildren.We are from South Africa. My daughter was very sick and died of cancer while we were there. I have been in hospitals in South Africa many many times but the treatment in this hospital was excellent!!!! Everybody tried to speak to me in English and if they could not went to call somebody that could, The nurses were great and I enjoyed my stay there very much.

I had a heart operation today. I asked in advance for a private room because the last time I was here nurses attending to my “roommate” woke me up every hour or so, actually turning on the lights and saying hello.

Unfortunately, there was no private room. So now I’m awake in the middle of the night because this roommate has the worst case of sleep apnea I’ve ever heard.

I’m not sure how they expect people to get better when they can’t sleep. I asked to be moved ANYWHERE: they offered earplugs. And after a HEART operation? This place is a nightmare — if you can get to sleep.

Update: At 4 in the morning they found another room for me. I slept from 5 am until they woke me at 6, and they seemed surprised I couldn’t walk to other offices for tests.

Very poor human relationships,
Not professional and don't attend to patients. They keep u waiting up to 6 hours basically naked and unattended to.
Very very unprofessional doctors and nurses at this place

The nurses etc were really lovely and looked after me so well before during and after my operation. Also due to the fact I'm new in hannover and so the speak very much german right now they all tried their very best with speaking english to me...some that couldn't still tried! Really lovely hospital!!
