We rocked up last night, an hour late due to trains,12 hours travelling, looking like a couple of lost, exhausted soles! I thought I had booked some 3wks prior, but on seeing a packed restaurant on a Wed night and no sign of our reservation feared the worst! I got emotional, daft I know, but this was the best steak house and was my husbands surprise birthday present, so I think I can be let off. OK the food you say, well firstly, looking like we did, they let us in, 2ndly, they moved us to a window, more romantic and the food, was I have to say, the best we have had. Even the salad was delicious, the trio of steak, each piece cooked to perfection and seasoned expertly, the staff, attentive, polite and such a pleasure. We will be back, to enjoy again. But for me, I am so thankful that they found a space for us, do not walk past, you will be missing out on a true steak adventure. Thank you.
