The location was great. Next to everything you would need. But to be honest the staff were not very helpful and the room smelt really bad of cigarettes.

Come here if you really hate yourself and the people you are coming with! I would give 0 stars if I could. The service was terrible, with windows that don't close, sockets that are wide open and you stick your finger into, and room service that literally came into the room, moved our stuff and took out a bed. They even started reconstruction in the room next door, at 7 AM as we were sleeping. Telling the reception about all of these problems, they laughed and said to lower our expectations.

The most terrible Hotel I have ever been to! This summer I went there with my wife. We were supposed to spend two days there. From the very beginning, even in the main corridor, was dirty and messy. In our room was even worse. It looked scruffy, like was not cleaned since ages and the floor was totally sticky. In the bathroom we were even afraid to touch anything. Obviously we delayed our stay there immediately and till now we have not got back our advance payment from the hotel. All other sleeping options in Hamburg would be probably better, even in a simple Hostel. I do not recommend.

Hotel Staff was very helpful. Room I was in was tidy, clean and very quiet. Location of the hotel is also good, it's literally 5 minutes walk to the train station, 10 minutes to city centre and 30 to the airport (by S1 train).
Breakfast was included. It's being served 7-10 am in hotel mercedes next door. Food is fresh and you can eat as much as you need.
I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a good quality and budget-priced stay in centre of Hamburg.

You have to pick the non budget ones. They are 4x better trust me. Check in person was not excellent and looked grumpy. The family room had a brand new bathroom but I don't know about the other rooms. Breakfast is right next door and is free (pretty tasty). Location is very shady and ghetto but a 7 minute walk from the train station. Beds were comfortable but at the same time the blankets were itchy. Overall a decent experience and would not recommend if you don't like a shady neighborhood.

This is a pretty terrible hotel, although the price is cheap. The room was OK but there were gross dirty net curtains and old dirty normal curtains which were disgusting just to touch. The hotel is on a very busy road so if you have the window open there is a lot of noise all night. There was one shared bathroom for I don't know how many bedrooms but there was a queue each time and it was one floor above. Every time I used the bathroom the floor was soaked, there were other dirty towels lying around and in general I have stayed in backpackers hostels with much better facilities. The only good thing was the included breakfast which had a large selection.

Not a great hotel by any standards, but quite nice nonetheless. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good beds, nice - but shared - bathroom, and breakfast at the hotel next door. Definitely value for money, and the neighborhood is one of the most multicultural in Hamburg, a mix of Turkish, Iranian, Afghan, Arab and Syrian. Great shops and restaurants.
