Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Good wifi connection and extra fruit, tea and coffee on offer in the common area on our floor. Breakfast was very good value for money and most enjoyable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was easy and available. We enjoyed staying at this venue while attending a sports event nearby. Located in a very pretty part of Hamburg, overall a great choice.

Pretty basic hotel with no bar or restaurant and minimal facilities. Storage in the room looked like it had been lifted straight from an old 1970s static caravan!!!! Really don't understand why I got a single duvet on a double bed but according to my colleagues all rooms were exactly the same.

My family of four recently stayed here and LOVED It! super clean, great breakfast, really friendly staff, great location - pretty close to public transportation - underground to short walk or one stop on the bus. Woudl definitely go back!

Nice place, good situation and really close to transports (bus stop is just at the front door), breakfast is good, the only bad point for me: what is the point with tiny blanket on a big bed?! Even if your alone you waiting for a blanket as big as the bed!

Very nice location, very small rooms, cleanliness and the quality of the breakfast must urgently be improved. The pillows are extremely small and awful. The staff is very friendly.

Quite small but functional guest rooms. Nice breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

Deducting a star due to poor (although free) wifi.

+ Nice rooms
+ Good contact upon reservation
+ Very nice and quiet neighbourhood
- Breakfast buffet with little choice - not adequate given the 100+ EUR room rates (the breakfast is 8 EUR extra)
- When I arrived (at around 2:30 pm, well within the reception opening hours), I had to wait for ~10 min and ring the bell half a dozen times for someone to come to the reception (I only even got into the building because another patron was leaving), and there were no apologies :-/
- I had a room on the ground floor with thick curtains only -- i.e. if you don't want people on the street to see you, you have to block out the sun completely (there is none of these kinda sightproof thin curtains that still let the sights and the sun in)

Bottom line: Ok but not excellent, especially given the price (which is mostly due to the expensive neighbourhood, I reckon)
