Great hotel with a very modern feel. Beautiful views out over the water. There was a family of owls in the tree right out front. Very modern but comfortable.

The staff and facilities are excellent. From the concierge to the housekeeping staff, everyone is friendly and thoroughly professional. Special mentions to Conrad at the bar and Moritz in the restaurant and their colleagues. The shoe-cleaning service here is outstanding even compared to other top hotels in Germany. Very family friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Had an evening event in their restaurant. Perfect - simply a beautiful, modern and wonderful place with an extraordinary service! Also, in a great location in Hamburg: central, green, right at the lakefront.

The hotel with all of its facilities (rooms, spa, restaurants, bar) alone is worth a trip to Hamburg.
We went there with our family including a 2yo child. We felt always welcomed and comfortable.
The amenities are really great, and the location of the hotel is wonderful as you’re virtually in a garden adjacent to the outer Alster, but at the same time in the city center.
Probably not worth the money to be spent here if you’re in a rush and have no time to enjoy the place. But definitely one of the best hotels in Hamburg and a great place to stay.

I have stayed on many nice hotels, but this is probably one of the best. Fantastic rooms and a high service, the bar on the roof is well visited and therefore cozy and fun to have a coffee or drink at. Unfortunately the Lakeside restaurant was closed for a fortnight, when we were there. We would have liked to eat at this Michelin gourmet restaurant.

The most arrogant, unfriendly staff in all of Hamburg! Makes it impossible to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
