Excellent italian food in a nice location. Service was amazing! Friendly, attentive and working hard to help us have a good time. We surely did :-)

The quality doesn't match the price. The waiters were very friendly, the atmosphere was nice and calm and the wine was good. The appetiser was bread that was already a bit hard and dry and some olives. I had spaghetti carbonara as the main course. The sauce tasted very salty and aside from that it did not taste like something I would go to the restaurant for. The spaghetti weren't al dente either. I was rather disappointed. The dessert was delicious, however. I had mascarpone with berries.

I don't understand why it's rated so high. prices are too high compared to the quality, presentation of the food and general ambiance. I ordered spaghetti with meat but the meat was so tasteless that I couldn't eat it because of the smell. In the olive-bread presentation served at the beginning, stale bread came. Come on, we're in Germany! sorry for the bill we paid and the disappointing meal.

Went with colleagues for a work lunch. Service was very friendly. We sat in the back and occupied the entire table. Right next to us is a small blackboard where they wrote down the lunch menu with chalk sticks. I had chicken breast with mashed potatoes, and an espresso afterwards. Both were very well executed. The chicken breast was well seasoned and moist. The vegetables were tasty and soft. The sauce was particularly good. My colleagues had some kind of fish which they said was also quite good. Besides the food, the place is very cozy and quite. Very close to the Alster lake, as well as to the Uni Hamburg. For lunch, price range is between 10 to 15 euro (with coffee).

We just walked in for a little lunch, but got one of the best pasta dishes I’ve eaten in Hamburg so far!
If you like original Italian cuisine this place won’t disappoint!

A “Molto bene” Italian restaurant where you feel like home. Day’s specialities chosen from a blackboard but also has a decent size menu. Friendly staff and lovely food!
