Friendly and hospitable staff. Clean rooms (can be a bit noisy at night). Decent breakfast with multiple options. Recommended - would return.

Good hotel for couple nights. Close to the center city and railway station. The breakfast was good.
There is no kettle in the room, but the front desk guy brought boiled water when we asked for????

Nice location, close to train station and decent pricing. Staff not the most welcoming, but rooms were comfortable overall although a bit hard to navigate / get to with luggage

Just a block or two from the main train station. The rooms are very small, but have everything you need. The pillows are good, and the blankets warm. Breakfast is typical German breakfast as well as scrambled eggs, which are very tasty. Hot showers with heated bathrooms too.

Overall okay if you just need a place to sleep, but bit of a dodgy vibe, some issues with our room bookings and a rather basic breakfast.

Easy going hotel with basic but comfortable rooms.
Great breakfast buffet although just salted (no sweets available).
Payment is requested up front on arrival.
There is unfortunately a 10 steps stair at the entrance barring entry to wheeled vehicles.
Ironing should be done in an open corridor, behind the reception area.
Very slow internet.

Man, we liked this hotel, great staff and friendly, which most people in Hamburg are not. Great location close to Central station and the river, cafes and restaurants! Just have to get used to having one key and locking from the inside and outside, but most places in Germany do it like that! Definitely, will stay here again!
