One of the finest meals we had in Hamburg. Truffle risotto was perfectly cooked with shavings of truffle on top. Seafood stew was rich and delicious. Beef tartar would make a vegan change her ways and eat beef for a day. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful evening, sitting outside and a delicious meal with attentive service. We choose the Summer menu and where not disappointed. Delicious 3 course meal with trout, pork chop or sea bass and absolutely yummy dessert. The pictures tell it all. Check it out for sure.

Authentic Hamburg restaurant. The food was great, good quality and super fresh ???????? They have a nice patio with umbrellas in a quiet area. The restaurant tells a lot of history about Hamburg, impressive mosaik deco and antic furniture. Friendly staff!

Cosy restaurant with several dining rooms. Food was good and quite reasonably priced. We had the salad with cheese, potato shrimp soup, and meatballs. The cakes and pastries looked good too.

Food was good but service was lacking.

Arrived to snooty looks from staff when answering that I hadn’t booked after being asked. Then waited about 15-20 minutes for our order to be taken. Food and drink arrived fairly quickly which was good quality, especially the bread. However, I felt that we were neglected by staff and waited about 20 minutes after finishing to have our plates taken away and the had to flag another staff member for the bill.

One of my favorite cafes after being in Hamburg a few times. Amazing interior, great service, nice food and drinks. The home-made lemonades and “franzbrötchen” (cinnamon rolls) are a must try!
