Very nice food and friendly staff! Small typical German style restaurant with great Wiener art schnitzel. Pay with card is possible too which is very convenient. Kids meal is also very large portion (picture with the green peas)

What a quaint restaurant! The restaurant is located in the narrow alley. The Resturant was established in the 1700s and the restaurant retains the historic flairs. They have several tables in the alley where we had our lunch. Love the traditional German food and the attentive servers. They have English menu which is a major plus! It is worth a visit while in Hamburg.

The service took too much time to serve us. Good was decent. The atmosphere didn’t feel too friendly, which left a bad taste.

Good food and very kind staff. If you want to try some german quality food, it is recommended. Pannfish was delicious.

Tasty and authentic German food. I’d say that prices are a bit high but portions are incredibly big as well. Very nice and helpful stuff.
Actually the location itself is very picturesque. Even if you’re not really hungry, it’s worth seeing.

Great local pub in a very busy tourist area. Prices were fair. I suggest to go inside if you never have been there. The atmosphere is fantastic and you can spend hours if you wanted to see all the items they have displayed. Most locals sit outside giving you a chance to relax, have a beer and snack.
