The staff are nice but the rooms are not nice. Even though we paid in advance with credit card and had seen the amount withdrawn from my account, upon arrival we were asked to pay again. Then I showed the clerk that the amount was taken from my bank account. After few minutes, the employee showed up at our desk asking if we can provide the credit card number again because the manager thinks they haven't charged us. I refused and showed him my bank statement AGAIN. Then he agreed and called his boss to explain.
The beds were also not very comfortable but I suppose it's to be expected from this price range so no surprise there.
The good thing about this hotel is that it's reasonable price and very central.
Also i want to point out that there are no elevators so all the luggages have to be carried by hand to the room via stairs

Verry dissapointed! I wanted a room on 19th august 21, and the young man from the reception told me the room cost 90 eur. I said it is too much because i found it on booking with 45 eur. And then he change his mind and said the room is 70 eur. He tried to fool me. I went to another hotel.

Rather go to a hostel, with the same price I have paid. I stayed in the room right next to the entrance, and there were no sound blockage. So although I was staying at the hotel, it was worse to get a sound sleep than at a hostel. The room was very small and narrow, that I could barely open my luggage on the floor. Plus, the shared bathroom was through the hallway and upstairs, so I had to walk quite far to take a shower. Location is fine, 5~10 min walk to the Hauptbahnhof. But you will have to go through the streets, which look like those in Harlem, NY. I do not recommend you, if you are to book a room with shared bathroom.

Terrible hotel! The room offered was just beside the entrance and reception, all noise included. It was just big enough to fit the bed, nothing else. To go to the bathroom you had to cross the hotels entrance area, climb the stairs and walk down a long corridor. Imagine doing that at night or even in the morning for the shower.

It seems all about squeezing as much money out of every square centimeter as possible!

Worst hotel i've ever been. Area around the hotel is noisy and shabby. Stay away!

We stayed for one night. We had a very cheap special offer with breakfast included. The room and bathroom were clean but a little bit small. There was a big TV in the room and wifi reception was good. The breakfast was more than basic, there were even fruit salad and yoghurt. One star less because of the noise. The room door did not keep the loud voices of another room out.

Because of the bath in the room their was a very bad smell in the room, almost like the smell of broccoli. There was spiderwebs hanging from the ceiling. Under the sheet we found crumbs. The room was very small and the bed was small. During our stay one of us got bidden by bugs. We Hope it wasn't bed bugs. The breakfast was okay the first morning, but the next morning the bread was very dry. Unsafe neighborhood with extra security at the stores.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.
This hotel is located in the worst area so do not show up late at night for your own safety. Also do not show up past 6pm because if a staff member is not at the front desk you will not be let in. I was extremely disappointed with this hotel and company. There is no 24 hour front desk. Myself and partner were left standing outside for an hour trying to get into the hotel. We had to walk to other hotels to try and CALL the front desk to be let in. After so long we were so upset (please note first sentence for unsafe area) that when we were let in we immediately called the manager. The person we spoke with on the phone (Sebastian and Novum) said we would not be changed and can cancel staying since we had such awful service. This was a complete lie. We were charged and tried calling the company multiple times long distance to which the service was AWFUL. Finally it came down to getting through by email to which the manager did not help credit my account. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND COMPANY CUSTOMER SERVICE.
