Do you want to deal with racism and or any type of terrible staff service? We pre paid the hotel and when we got there we should have just been given the room but Instead we were told to get off the premises then later escorted by police; the manger was no help and the staff replied with racial slurs such as “terrorist” I did absolutely nothing but try to have a safe place to stay for the night I would post the video of my interaction but the police made me delete it due to the women behind the desk saying she felt “treated”. I have stayed at countless hotels over my life and this is by far the worst, please do no stay here I only attempted to stay at this hotel for a night in order to drive to Munich instead the experience was so bad I had decided to go back to Berlin and stay there the rest of my trip I would rate it 0 stars if I could.

Only book for winters, as there is no aconitin air conditioner or a simple table fan available even on request. The shampoo and handwash is pretty cheap. Its on the street and its hot so you will have to hear noises all night. Walls and doors are pretty thin.

In a great location near to lots of cool shops, bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly. Top floor rooms at the back have a roof terrace which is great for looking over the city. Some parts of the room were a little dated but, it was very comfy, a good size and a great shower. It has the cheapest mini bar ever. €3 for wine!

Great location close to Sternschanze and St. Pauli, spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast was pretty good in a restaurant with morning sun and a nice garden right outside (which they have no pictures of). We were travelling with an infant an the extra child bed was ready in our room when we arrived. The hotel is more fresh than the quite "carpet heavy" pictures they have on their profile.

The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is next to one of the coolest neighbourhoods. There are plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants close to it. Other than that it is a mediocre hotel.

Arrived at 10 in the morning bur check in opens at 1500 so they let us leave our bags and explore hamburg, returned at 1700 and went to our rooms which were clean and of a decent size and had coffee making facilities and a well stocked mini bar

Don't be distracted by the main street. This hotel is a gem in the middle of it all. Friendly staff and an incredibly cosy hotel. Wi-Fi is included and the performance and latency great.
