I've stayed here last year. Though a little bit far away from the centre, it offers a really nice (and clean) accomodation for a fair price. Also, very nice staff.

The room itself was good, nice beds, mini fridge and small lockers were provided. The toilet was clean and toilet paper and soap were available.

My problem was with the terrible WiFi connection (it just keeps disconnecting) and terrible reception.
There was no one at the reception when I arrived, all lights were off and the place looked like it was closed down. I called them twice untill they sent someone at the door after a few minutes, the person I talked to on the phone spoke German but the woman who came didn't speak German or English which was not good. She didn't even show me where the bathroom, kitchen and vending machines are.
Overall it's overpriced for the service they give, I wouldn't want to pay more than 12-15€ for a place like this. Stayed only for one night.

Probably the best price in the city for a hostel. Most of the room are shared. They contain beds, refrigerator and lockers. Bathrooms with showers are located next to the rooms. Available is also a big shared kitchen. Only 10-15 min from the city center with a bus.

WARNING!
If I could give this place 0 I would.
As we arrived to the place we waited for almost 20 minutes before the owner apperead at the reception. As we stod in line we learned that EVERYONE had to pay extra for bedsheet, there was no information about this on the page before booking, so if its mandatory why isn't it included in the actual booking price. Hidden fee 100%!
As we refused to pay a hidden fee (matter of principle and not a matter of cost) we were literally thrown out of the building after the owner thrash-talked and insulted us and another guest who was before us. As we were thrown out we were promised a full repayment but now they ripped us off and have charged our card even though we were the ones who wanted to stay but were thrown out because we didn't want to pay a hidden fee. Absolutely horrible staff and service, avoid this place at all cost!

Awesome place to stay at Hamburg. Near to a major tube station and accessible to many locations through cab.
