Well the first tour operator told me they don't take credit cards. However the second bus tour operator from same company told me differently. He told me he doesn't take Amex but took visa. So that's what we did. Other than that the tour was fine and the bust driver good and I tipped him well. I don't know what was the reason for inconsistency. Why would one operator take it visa and the other flat out refuse any credit cards? Anyhow be aware this may occur if considering using them. I would definitely bring cash to avoid this hassle.

Very rude driver. Card payment not working. Waited for 1 hour in the rain. Disappointed.

It was not really a hop on hop off at all since he only stopped once. Only 2 buses running all day and only for short time window. All info from office turned out to be wrong.
Shortage of drivers apparently.

So glad we did not buy tickets in advance. Waited 40 minutes (in the rain) for a bus that never arrived. Seeing the reviews that note no tours in English make me glad that we were not able to ride. I’d give negative stars, is possible.

This tour is NOT in English. We rode three busses over the course of our route. Of the three busses, one was only in German, one had a prerecorded option in English (but was very limited in what it talked about, and was difficult to hear over the live German tour), and one had a live tour guide who tried to switch from English to German but she had a very difficult time switching between the languages and consequently tours in both language tours were incomplete. I understand that I am a guest in this country and I can’t expect things in English, except this tour was advertised as such. . I do not recommend even if you’re a Germany speaker as sometimes the tour guide mixes up the language. My german friend said he was super confused too.The ticket was not inexpensive and I felt it was a big waste.

Not good if you are looking for a tour in English. I took this in Nov 2014. Except for a few highlights, guide explained hardly anything in english. This might be a good tour if you understand German, but my experience was quite disappointing
