Goldbeker... One of those places you have to visit when in Hamburg! The menu is rather small but what they offer can hardly be outdone...we had a very nice meal with a good friendly service..very clean restrooms...good value for your money!

Cool traditional bar with nice wooden interior. Spent a couple relaxing hours there with kids while sightseeing this part of Hamburg. Flammkuchen was very good.

Rather inconvenient but at the time of payment, they wouldnt take card from me unless it was a German debit or credit card. So much for international travellers trying to eat here. I had to borrow cash from my friend with me and they wouldnt take her German card too as it didnt have etty or etsy ( not sure what they called it) but it had to be a specific German card for them to avoid paying large taxes. So sad as it deters travellers from eating there. Also it was the 22:00pm in the night so you cant be roaming to find a cash machine and we were not told before we could order that we needed cash only. Not a pleasant experience.

Omg!! I wanted to eat a schnitzel like that since long time, really delicious, this kind of restaurant is very difficult to find nowadays, good food, authentic place, with story and character, definatly gonna come back since my partner lives close.

Nice location, the restaurant itself would need some renovations. Food was ok, service was nice but slow and unorganised.
