Very cozy cafe with high quality dishes. Especially the soups are good! Fine, Nordic/Swedish food.
(The chai latte is boring, though: warm milk and a tea bag)

The staff is completely lost - they forgot about our order! After 40 min waiting and kindly reminding about our breakfast we got an answer that it will take another 10 min... 20 min after that we asked again - and again we saw a confused face of another waitress. „It is already in preparation and will be served in 5 min“. 10 min afterward still nothing at our table.... all in all, 1,5h waiting for our food!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!
Also wenn paying, the waitress could not get who is paying for what and got confused a couple of times.
The food is decent, we got a lot of apologies but who cares - 1,5 h waiting for some crackers and a plate of cheese?!?!

Had a terrific swedish inspired breakfast here????just lovely! Fine tasting food in large portions. I had great coffee and orange juice to my meal. A lovely meal!!! Perfectly friendly personal. A little gem to visit. Come early if you want a place! Hier komt nur eine wort in frage: wunderbar. Achtung: Große portionen!

Unfortunately the last experience here at Frau Larsson was very poor. It took ages for us to order and following that our order was forgotten about. For the price we paid the coffee was very average and the Chai Tea was more foamed milk that actual tea and therefore only tasted like milk. The Cake was the end piece of a roll but unfortunately the slice was so thin that it wasn't satisfying at all and on top of that because it was the end piece it had little fruit in it. the place looked good but was very poor in terms of service, food and drink

Very very tasty but sooooo slow. Cash-only, jesus people why is Germany so crazy with this. Lunch menu usually only contains one veggie dish, and could be a bit cheaper. Back room is very quiet and isolated, could use some music.

I don’t know why there are so many five star reviews. For the prices they have an the location which is in the middle of one of the most expensive areas in Hamburg. They have to put some more love into the details.
For me the hot chocolate I drank was served in a cheap mug from Ikea that looked over used, I don’t need the finest porcelain but like I said for the standards out here that mug was just dull and the hot chocolate well, no comment. Wasn’t worth 2,60€ that’s for sure.
Maybe good for someone who hasn’t had time to make coffee at home but not for me.
And the coziness well that’s gone since all the furniture looks overused . All in all, the place used to look better years ago now is just not treated with enough love and as a costumer I saw that. Sorry can’t give you more then two stars .
