Relatively small menu but decent food. The spring rolls were excellent. Their curry is good as well. Service is on the slow side and they accept only cash payments. Despite the quality of food, I do find this restaurant to be overpriced - there are cheaper places with identical dishes of decent quality in the area.

The food taste was good but for a plate that you pay extra for having escalopes, there were definitely not many of them. It was like only 2 small escalopes sliced into even smaller pieces. The location in nice and the ambient too. My husband liked the duck.

Fantastic food. Great service. Cash only :( . Very nice decor. Nice cocktail prices, although, we didn’t try the cocktails.

While visiting Hamburg for some days, we stayed in Sankt Georg and came across GAO! After ordering dinner the first evening, we came back two more times to enjoy the delicious food! Five stars, def. will be back next time visiting Hamburg!

I am a bit surprised by the high rating of this place or I was simply unlucky with what I ordered. My pho bo was extremely salty, came without any lime, chili, very little herbs but instead tons of noodles. There are definitely better and cheaper places for Vietnamese food than Gao Kitchen.

The place was cozy, food was tasty, service was very pleasing, I had ordered Japanese noodles with coconut curry with scrimps.. may be Little expensive
