Great little pub-restaurant floating on the edge of the Elbe. We ate here a couple of times and had excellent schnitzel, swordfish, and rump steak each time.
Owners are very nice, and speak good English to help out with my poor German.

We stopped here on a scorching hot day for some cold drinks during a bike tour and ended up ordering Pannfisch... the waiter was super friendly with my kids, the food was well prepared and very tasty (I mean seriously what's not to love about fried potatoes and fresh fish in a pan). And best of all, we sat in the shade with a view of the Elbe. Livin' the dream! If you're in Hamburg: go there.

It's a very emblematic restaurant. It's an old ship in the Elbe near Hamburgs harbour. The food is ok, we had traditional grün Kohl and was nice. The place is pretty small and it gets very full and loud.

Genuine. Run by Indian gents, but they are Hamburg Indians and do a fantastic job. Great interior, good Hamburg pub food, good value for money. Check the Stammtisch in the back right hand corner, with a spinning walk-out den.

Worst service ever experienced in a restaurant. We have waited 1,5 hours for our 3 soups and got only one then came one meal and they totally forgot about the other soups. Half an hour later they brought one soup and a false one. When we said we are kind of unsatisfied with the service we were told not to come again. I think it's a fail of the owned to have only 2 waiter for so many tables

Quaint traditional place, swims up and down with the tide. In a small Hamburg mini-marina you can eat traditional fish dishes, meat, or coffee and cake.
Warm dishes 14.50 to 21.00 euros.
Nearby: Teufelsbrück ferry pier, Jenisch Haus, Jenisch Park and Ernst-Barlach Museum, Bargheer Museum. Walking on the Elbe river walk.
