Had Fischsuppe - was delicious, with lots of shrimp, fish and mussels.

Sat at the terrace with very beautiful view.

Slow service.

After 30 minutes waiting for two drinks we went to bar to see if we can get it ourselves. Then the owner yelled at us to go sit on the table.
We asked waitress who is this guy and she apologized in his behalf, but I don't think she told him we complained. That is why I am writing, hopefully one day he will see this.
You should be ashamed! So very rude.
I didnt see one smile in this bar and the owner was angry. You should not work with people.
I have never seen such arrogance

The location of the place is super. Really good and friendly personal. These are the good things. All the other unfortunately not so good. Too expensive without reason and low quality. Everything was looking old and tired. In the city of Hamburg you can find better places..

The view overlooking Oevelgönne Museumshafen is great. But that's about it.

Expensive drinks; EUR 14.80 for a bad 200ml Pina Colada and a way too sweet 400ml Alsterwasser.

Our waiters shirt was literally tearing apart, one of his colleagues was randomly shouting out words in Polish and another one was staring rather unfriendly.

And when it came to pay our bill we were still asked for a tip.

Location is amazing. Beautiful view on the Elbe and passing ships. Cappuccino was good. Prices are on the expensive side but that is expected. Not too crowded. On the down side, service was awful. Three vaiters came by but no one could receive or order. We waited for half an hour to get the drinks.

Terrible service. Truly abysmal. There were more staff than guest and we still waited for ever for our order. I had to take my own drinks to the table as no waiter could be bothered. Never again.

Sun hurts a little bit if you don't have sunglasses and protection. Chairs are super uncomfortable to sit and relax. Quality/price is not good. I ordered fries and beer and nothing was special. Cheap frozen fries from supermarket. But it was like 6-7 Euro and drinks are okish regarding prices in Hamburg generally. They rely on the view nothing is original regarding food and service.
I usually leave tip but my wife wanted to pay with her card then I left her and got out, and I heard she was calling me to help her understand what is wrong. I realized that waiter was repeating the amount on slip to make us leave tip then my wife insisted not to leave tip because we were both not happy with the quality. Then waiter mumbled "no tip then" I told him to get 18 instead of 15. We left that place immediately and not going there again.
We will try other cafes for next time.
