Went to this wine bar to hide from the rain, but found a hidden gem of German wines. If you're a wine lover and would like to try and appreciate local varieties - that is a perfect place for you. Prices for wine and appetizers/starters are reasonable, but main prices are a bit high. The interior is amazing - worth visiting just to enjoy it with a glass of German Riesling. ????

Amazing food, outstanding service, wonderful atmosphere, you can’t go wrong. The menu is not overwhelming - some starters, mains, and desserts. You are certain to fine something you will like. The food is rustic, yet upscale, bursting with flavor and visually appealing. Truly an all-around great culinary experience.

Loved it. Sanded soft white pine furniture everywhere. Clean white walls. Huge tall painted ceiling. Excellent food and English speaking staff. Try the salmon and the schaufelstuck (beef and blackberry sauce). And for some weird reason, American pop songs playing in the background.

Great wines, most friendly staff I have ever seen. There is a huge variety of wines you can choose and the waiters help with every step with great patience. I loved the place. We could not try most of the food of course, but everything looks just delicious. I can highly recommend.

Progressive and innovative concepts -every component played a role on the plate. Great front of the house, who was attentive and gave us a great wine recommendation. Buddels, you are top chef.

Reading the amazing review this place had, our expectations were high. Luckily, they were met and more so. Amazing food and fantastic service … We strongly recommend this place to everyone!

A wonderful dining experience: Great ambience, friendly service, fantastic food. The tartare and fish dishes in particular were exceptional. We'll absolutely go back next time we're in Hamburg.
