I absolutely cannot recommend this accommodation! Can't put 0 stars, otherwise I would have.

Unpleasant rooms and public spaces such as stairwells, toilets and kitchens smell terrible, like a mix of moisture, smoke and mould. Unsafe area, not for vacationers.

We had booked and paid for two nights but only stayed one. We moved to another hotel immediately the day after arrival.

Choose another accommodation in Hamburg is my advice.

Clean and quiet. It was a last minute booking and I did not know the bathroom was shared but it was clean and so were the rooms.

Nice, cosy, clean. One shared bathroom and 2 toilets, good for our one night in Hamburg.

Very slow internet, and heating, room are very dirty, exempt it is close to public transport nothing else is good

Staff was friendly but only avaiable 3 hours a day. Couldn't even complain about the wifi. It never worked - connecting but no Internet. A big big minus. The room's interior was ok (looked like it wasn't changed last 20 years). Our closed was broken and my bed really hard and uncomfortable. The wallsu0026windows aren't soundproof so you hear other guests and passing cars. Therefore slept really badly at night :/ we had access to kitchen (remember to reserve it beforehand!) and it had all we needed. Bathroom really small, no place for your cosmetics. Location is great.
Keep in mind that it is not a hotel - you're going to stay at a small flat (the pension includes like 3 blocks).

Reasonably clean and tidy, if a little spartan. The management seem to have an aversion to changing light bulbs, especially in stairwells.
Well located, in a fairly hip area close to centre.
Only downside is that it's right next to a railway line, so not for the light sleepers!
WiFi is so s**t I wouldn't even bother trying to connect...

If you need internet, this is not the place for you. The WiFi does not work. You can connect to it, but it's so slow no page will load.
There is a shared bathroom for 4 apartments, and I literally mean one bathroom. One room for the toilet, shower, and sink. Good luck getting a shower in the morning. You don't get towels, either.
Also, the reception is only open from 3pm to 6pm. If you turn up early, you can't get in.

Otherwise, the room was clean and the receptionist was friendly.
