Awesome and uncomplicated experience. Traveling to Hamburg for a short amount of time, this place is perfect. Super friendly service, very clean space, sharing bathrooms well organized, great location. Very happy, will definitely return!

Loses two stars for two different reasons. Check in time is from 14:00 so when I was shown to my room at 14:23 it was not ready. Not too much of a problem as I sat on the lovely terrace for a few minutes. But then, I needed to freshen up by using the amenities (I had been sitting on a coach for three hours), but the lady was still cleaning them.

The other star I deducted simply because the coffee machine wasn't working during my visit.

Overall though, I would recommend to stay here, nothing wrong with the rooms (although a bin would be a welcome feature).

++ The staff is quite nice. Spacious room and well-equiped kitchen with free coffee and some breakfast items. Very close to Hamburg University with a small garden for the sunny days!

-- Separate toilet and bathroom with no basin in the toilet.

Value for money! We were lucky and got a room with private access to the garden. The beds are very basic but acceptable for the money. If you are tall be advised to ask for a bed without ends. We stayed at the hotel while it was 32 degrees. The hotel has no airco but because it’s basement it was cool. Check-in a bit difficult. Your have to be at the hotel before 20:00. I would recommend the hotel to find a solution for this.

May be it is the best place to stay at in Hamburg, the rooms are clean, tidy with variable sizes suitable for all. The location is perfect; very near to city center and just 4 minutes walking from the bus stop and the university is just down the street. Shopping facilities are even nearer.
Yet the best thing there is the people, they are more nice, friendly and helpful than you can imagine. My experience with them all was great.
If you are a student or a tourist, if you are visiting Hamburg just for a couple of days or for weeks, this place is great and those people are awesome.

This place is awesome. I stayed in a single room for one night for the low low price of 31 Euro. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean with nice amenities. Highly recommend it.
