A super friendly and professional gentleman checked us in. The place was clean and the lounge was welcoming. The coffee was refreshing and the place was well lit up. Also, the room was inviting and the bed was comfortable. Additionally, the view from the window was great. The staff was well-trained and happy to help. I had a few virtual meetings and the room had a nice space to get those done. Also, nearby was a fabulous Indian restaurant. I liked this hotel so much that I wanted to extend the stay by booking another night but the hotel was full. What a delight it was! I cannot wait to stay again with all of my family members.

Fair WARNING: We stayed there for two nights and the police came three times (as far as we could notice) due to:

1) a stolen bicycle (in the garage)
2) broken car window (garage) and
3) a stolen handbag (in the breakfast area)

So, watch out and keep your belongings with you.

Location is great, only few minutes walking-distance to S and U Bahn.

Rooms were all good!

FAIR WARNING - I opted for the pay at hotel option during booking. At 7PM, the day of my check-in, my reservation was automatically cancelled. Luckily I was almost at the hotel and got the very last room that night, but I would have been pretty upset if they turned me away. The confirmation page was still up in my browser, and it said nothing about an automatic cancellation. Neither did the confirmation email in my inbox. Apparently if they don’t have your credit card details on file, they cancel your reservation, which I guess makes sense but first time I heard of it..that should have been in big bold text on the confirmation/booking process. I don’t know if its a hotel policy or a wider German one, but pretty shady/annoying. That said, hotel is clean and nice. But there’s basically no front desk and every night I returned to the hotel, there was some mildly frustrated traveler trying to wrestle with an ATM-like machine used for check in.

Nice staff. The hotel and room was fine. Underground car park, great. A bit of a walk to get to town. I would stay again. Thank you.

Very bad service. Not possible to get breakfast for the next day because due to Covid it had to be booked in advance. Not possible to get some breakfast packed for the same price. Not possible to get extra pillows in the afternoon and evening hours. Very unfriendly personnel at the reception. Rooms and location ok. Not recommended.

Nice hotel located a bit out of the centrum. Not so far from the S-Bahn station. Quite clean and confortable.

Decent hotel for business stay, clean rooms, centrally located - closer to city center. 10 mins walk to Alster Lake.
