Very cozy and atmospheric place. We stopped by to warm up as it was raining outside and didn’t regret it. The place is really old, decorated in a shabby style.
The staff was friendly from the first moment.
As for menu, there is a good selection of cakes in here, so we could choose whatever the soul wants.
We’ll come back here to grab a dinner at some point.

Der Kuchen hat uns leider nicht überzeugt. Da hatten wir wohl Pech, denn der Zwetschgen-Streusel war homöopathisch klein und mit 3,80 € überteuert.
Schade, den die Alte Deichkate macht ansonsten einen guten Eindruck und wird bestimmt nicht zu Unrecht von anderen gut bewertet.

Mit neuem Pächter noch am Anfang.....
(seit 3 Wochen) ...aber das sieht schon recht gut aus:
Bisher mit Getränke, Kuchen und belegten Broten wird die Wartezeit auf die neue Küche und die Möbel überbrückt.

Wir hatten Schnitten mit
- Parmaschinken mit Feigen und Rucola
- Lachs auf Kräuterschmand mit Honig-Dill-Senf
Beides sehr lecker.

Der Gastgarten ist urig und die Bedienungen sehr freundlich.

Wir freuen uns darauf wiederzukommen, vor allem wenn die neue Küche da ist und der wirkliche Restaurant-Betrieb aufgenommen wird.
