Beautiful, peaceful spot to while away a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon with a beer or glass of wine. I’m case hunger strikes they have delicoius sausages, frikadellen, kartoffelsalat and homemade cakes.

Beautiful spot, especially the view over the Alster lake. They offer nice drinks and snacks, even BBQ sometimes. During our last visit we had a very uncomfortable situation after using the toilets. They specifically have a sign on the door stating the toilet use is for free (which should be for paying guests). After leaving, the cleaning person started to try to force us to pay and even insulted us after we communicated our confusion since the sign states otherwise.

My favorite go to place for a walk during the week. It's very relaxing and ideal to put your thoughts together. On the weekends it's much more crowded which then brings a totally different and much more energetic vibe.

I love this Café/Restaurant. Very friendly Staff's. Great atmosphere. Nice place to meet great people. I can never get enough of this place.

Wonderful scenic view from the lakeside. Food and drink at fair prices. Simple and sometimes heavy on the salt, but everything is forgotten with a look at the lake in summer.
