If the hotel was a human being, I’d say it is an English gentleman from Kent! You can feel the fact that it is old and regal in its splendor. Nicely decorated and asides being a hotel, has a very good restaurant where I had dinner with friends. The food was great and the service was helpful, coming around from time to time to ensure we were ok. There appeared to be a bowling alley though I didn’t really inspect. Good place to take family and friends for a nice meal. 4 star for the hosting and reception

Nice but dated. Thought I would be on the water and while it’s only a short drive I was hoping to be able to see the lake from my room

Very nice hotel for elderly people. It offers spacious and comfortable rooms, a great service palette and is in walking proximity to the famous lake of Constance. Easy parking for free and very friendly staff. Spend a night there after a speech, and was by far the youngest despite of my 54 years.

Rooms are very generous space wise and have all the utilities you could think of included, good quality furniture. Room cleaning does a splendid job and all the staff is very helpful no matter the request. Will visit again when in Friedrichschafen

I stay here every year during the OutDoor Germany tradeshow and it is great as a hotel and restaurant. The rooms are nice and large with different layouts so every stay is different. Two pools, two bars (one with bowling lanes!), a delicious restaurant, and a mini golf course cap off the amenities. There is a spa as well, breakfast included, and free parking. Prices are reasonable too! I could not recommend a better place in the Friedrichshafen area.
