Went to the "sky deck" for some drinks. It was so pleasant. The view was so pretty and relaxing, but I was amazed at not only how wonderful the signature drinks were presented, but the price. So reasonable, and this is high season. Needless to say, went back several times. My new go to spot when visiting.

I've been invited for lunch to "Hotel Traube am See" and it's been my second time visiting. The location is nice, we've been sitting outside and have been offered the lunch menu.

There have been various options to choose from, not many vegetarian dishes though (to my surprise!). I chose the salad variation ????with fish and it was nicely arranged, although there's been only two or three tiny pieces of fish placed on the salad. However the quality of food was great and everything was very neat and clean.

The service however, lacked a bit of friendliness.. for this price range I expect absolutely impeccable service!

I would revisit, though it's really very expensive!

We are regular visitors to Friedrichshaven area to see family, went to Hotel Traube for dinner. Delightful dinner, lovely atmosphere and charming staff. The decor and ambience of the restaurant is charming and will be on our list for next visit from UK.

We spent a two night stay for the wife birthday. We had a wonderful experience from the moment of check in to check out. Staff are professional and so friendly. Nice large room assigned in the main building with good beds and good bathroom. We booked on H/B and both dinners served in the restaurant opposite building around 50 meters away are of excellent quality and enjoyable. Service staff are perfect and understand client needs. Likewise breakfast is great and they use a lot of local bio products. The hotel features a nice wellness center, great indoor pool with water jets and sauna land (unclothed) with dry and wet saunas, outside hot pool with thermal water. Hotel provides free underground carpark and has excellent WiFi. Highly recommended.

I had lunch with friends in this restaurant.
The food was awful, and the service was terrible.
Horrible meat, supposed to be organic. It was too hard and too overcooked... not fresh meat. Horrible experience.
And the service was worst than that. Direspectful and not welcoming. Unprofessional.
Restaurant to avoid absolutely except if you really want to eat expensive, bad and get a horrible service.
