Service was very poor and the staff struggled to understand German. Cakes shouldn't have been served as they were old and the schwartz tee was very bitter. A disappointing experience

Avoid this place. Customer service is really bad. Lady serving me said we have to hurry up, we only asked what sandwiches you have. Anyway, rude staff, bad food and worst coffees. Avoid avoid avoid.

Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Besides great choice of cakes and croissants for those with sweet tooth, there are also meals such as brot flamme, xxxl (I mean it :)) cheese u0026 veggie burgers, various types of salads.. and list goes on.
The place is spacious and you can choose to sit at the front terrace with the view at the town street or at the back terrace with relaxing view at the Bodensee lake and Swiss Alps.

Spacious cafe/bakery, with lots of choice produce. Staff is helpful, coffee is good. Come for a tasty breakfast, there is an offer of breads, butter, ham and cheese. Recommended!

The food here is very good, but unfortunately the service should improve a lot. Normally it takes long for the waiters to take you order or bring the bill, but last time I was there the waiter also replaced something in my order without consulting me and, when confronted, simply said that this happens when they have too many orders and run out of something. I get that stuff may run out, but changing something without saying anything to the customer and on top of that thinking that you have the right to do so and not being confronted is a bit absurd to me.

Very nice bakery with variety of choices. The services is pretty good. They offer big and nice seating area. One of the best bakeries in Friedrichshafen. It is also close a bit later than other bakeries. Perfect choice for brunch

Large cafe with nice seating, but overworked staff on Sundays especially when it's crowded. It's chaotic. There are two inner sections in the cafe : the small part facing the Karlstrasse is for customers who order the bread or cakes and carry their plates or cup of coffee to have a seat. The bigger portion facing the lake is for customers who want to be served by a waiting staff who will take orders and bring the food to you. When it's crowded, you need some patience.

Try the crispy sticks with sesame and bacon bits. They are great as snacks.
