We ate at Canoa Brasil. As a Brazilian, I can say that the feijoada was very authentic and delucious! The price was fair and the portion size was good. Would reccomend.
In general, Markthalle has a great atmosphere. Nice place to check out to get food from around the world in the heart of Freiburg.

The Canoa Brasil is definitely a must. The feijoada was so tasty, like home… but the farofa tasted like my grandma’s one. Jackpot! Friendly people! I would always go back there.

Great idea to have so many foods from different countries/ continents under the same roof. Eventhout you might find much better restaurants for each country the idea of having them all at one place is really great! Would go there again

Great selection of food from around the world, at reasonable prices. Seating is a little limited, but we found space without problem.

We liked the experience, to find in one place lots of countries offering food! Outlr dishes were Brazilian and Arab, both delicius and fresh!

I really enjoy this place, it has a couple of advantages over any restaurant around:
1. Prices are quite good: e.g. paid 9 EUR for Chicken Masala with vegetables.
2. If you go out with friends, you don't need to pick a place which fits everybody's interest. This place has tons of options, from vegan to meat, from Indian to Brasilian.

The disadvantage is that it is pretty crowded. But we always found a place where we could eat and enjoy.
