I came here to try out gyros, a signature Greek dish. Which was unfortunately sold out. The staff offered their apologies and helped us pick out other dishes. We ordered the Souvlaki, the cheese stuffed steak and pork chops. Each dish came with salad with tzatziki dressing. The meal startedvoff with a complimentary shot of ouzo. The Souvlaki meat was tough and it was difficult cutting it with the knives. The pork chops were tender and the accompanying mushroom sauce was a delightful accompaniment. The best dish however was the steak. It was a tender minced beef steak with cheese as a stuffing. Portions were large enough for a hungry adult. The restaurant has a nice ambience and the serving crew is very polite. They were very accommodating.

What a great restaurant and what a caring owner. We went there without a reservation and were told that they were fully booked. We had already left the restaurant when the owner came running after us telling that just when we left someone had cancelled their booking. We went back and a great evening with great food. By the end of the evening the owner came back again and explained that he appreciated our patience in the beginning and that made him chase us. Highly recommended - that's what I call professional and personal commitment.

Awesome food, really kind and FAST waiters! Only four stars, because it is ALWAYS full, so when planning to go there in the evening, better make a reservation to be sure you get a spot! Also, a lot of families and kids, but when you don't have a problem with that, that's the place to be in Freiburg when you like greek food!

Great food, excellentlyu200bpersonal and friendly staff, yet slow service and not too cheap. Better to share a dish if you're not REALLY hungry

The food was really nice and full of meat. Started with a shot of Ozu and ended with ice cream and another shot. The staff where really freindly and nice.
