The fish was delicious! But the sausages were a bit salty. The creamed potatoes were good. There are high standards for the selection of ingredients.

The food is great, so is the service. The ambience is also very relaxed and the price is in the affordable range. Loved the Schnitzel and the Beer!

A really nice dinner, service was very friendly albeit not always fast. Concerning portion size, I'd say it's actually very well proportioned - if you're very hungry, take a starter and dessert, that's what they're for. For a moderate appetite, the size is just right for enjoyment while making sure people don't leave too much on their plates - very conscious about food waste, I appreciate that approach. Prices are also ok, especially for seasonal and regional products.

Super gluten free restaurant!

Beautiful restaurant, super kind waiters, honest price. Well done German cooking potato based dishes, plus the menu comes with many gluten free options. They're truly careful about gluten intolerance/celiac disease, one of the few restaurants in Freiburg. I really recommend it!
