Apartment was comfortable for a family and good size. Very rich and good breakfast. Staff was very friendly. The location was in old town freiburg.

I really liked staying in this hotel. Wasn't cheap, but it was worth it, and we got everything we needed.

Please note: This is a review about Restaurant Rappen am Münsterplatz. We were staying in another hotel, but came here for dinner on 15th May 2022.

We were a group of 10 people and our local guide help us and made the food order for dinner. Several of us, around 6 ordered the typical sausage "Bratwurst".
We got very surprised when the dishes came to the table... The people who ordered the sausage dish got something completely different: fish with rice and fish with potatoes ?! (Rotbarben-Filet u0026 Zander-Filet) What??
When we complained to the waitress she did not react well and she even did not want to change our orders. We had to insist to several waitress to get the food we had ordered in the first place, what type of service is this? Very bad indeed. A pity we can not put 0 stars.

We spent one night at this hotel and I cannot say enough good things about it. I am always looking for aesthetically pleasant hotels, but of course cleanliness, service and location are important as well, and this place checks every single box.

We had food here. It was very expensive what you get. After some hours having the lunch, we both felt bad in our stomach.

On 11.11, my husband invited me to lunch at the restaurant in this hotel. I had their „unsere Tipp: Gänse Keule und Brust“ for 36.90€. Well! It was their Tipp for the day at least, it should be good??? No it was NOT it was DRY . Dry! Hard like rocks and tasteless. I tried to get the waitress attention but she was very busy. Poor women, there were only 2 of them and one had to take care of the bar. My husband ate it. He did not like to waste food. But be left a large helping behind. Never again in hotel Rappen. Dried up old place.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful - the people, the room, the food at the restaurant and for breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

The hotel is in an perfect location for cruising the city. Not good for parking or getting there with lagguage. Very friendly receptionist and perfect rooms! My mum had one with window on the dome! Awesome!
