This is a very nice place in the warm weather. The setting outside is lovely under the trees. The food is very good and the service is perfect. We had a very enjoyable lunch here and I would gladly return again.

This place is called in German "gut bürgerlich": neat place, old style furniture, traditional German food. Now, traditional might seem basic but it is well prepared and authentic; if you are looking for something exotic you might try some other place. The service is dedicated and polite; it is a family friendly place and no dress code is either enforced or recommended, you still might not take very young toddlers into it and wanna wear formal clothes. Mind peak times tough, you either get lucky or better make a reservation.

A nice place to get a taste of some authentic Upper Rhine food. The desserts and seasoning are impeccable. The only missing thing is that staff seems a little overworked. I hope they take better care of them

The hotel has a restaurant which I will evaluate in the hotel I was not accommodated. The restaurant is large, but I still recommend to call for reservation. The service is always very nice and pleasant. I always have schnitzel and salad (price about 14 Eur). The restaurant is also suitable for large groups. I recommend to visit.

Nice hotel in walking distance to city centre. Appropriate service, friendly and helpful. Hotel offers free parking for guests. However, in summer season an AC would be beneficial. Nevertheless, good value for money!

Sat outside to have dinner with my family. In the middle of the meal a rain started and we were forced to carry the plates and glasses indoors ourselves. After that the staff asked us to wait at the reception (with plates in our hands!). Several minutes later, the administrator said that there are no free tables, it is not his problem and we have to leave into the pouring rain, not having finished our meal. Insulting level of customer service!
