Young Museum, Frankfurt

Had fun exploring the museum on my long layover in Frankfurt. Definitely would recommend spending longer than an hour, slowly walking through the floors filled with history. Loved the huge snow globe where you can see how city changed through time!

Incredibly fascinating, well curated, architecturally wonderful and the staff is unusually friendly, helpful and attentive! A must see museum which I'm already looking forward to visiting again.

Also... take your children! Even in the main museum there is plenty to do for kids.

Such a disappointing museum. I read all the reviews and still took the time to go and check it out. It was that really bad. Its only for kids 6-9 and a very tiny area for 5 and under. Nothing to do except a slide which my 3 year old enjoyed going down a few times. We were told to take our shoes off. Which I was confused about because the floors were filthy from some other kids leaving trails of cookie crumbs or something all over the place. But At least we didn’t pay anything and we were the only ones there. It was also helpful that it was right next to the station which for us was very convenient.

Absolutely a must to visit place. A journey through the history of the city now and the past. We absolutely loved it

I came here on a Saturday and didn't expect much. However i really enjoyed the museum. They have a *game* where you need to take a small picture from every room you visit. It is made for kids but i enjoyed it regardless since it made exploring the museum more exciting.
It's a rather interactive museum so i can recommend it for those who usually hate walking around to solely look at boring old stuff .

Quite an unusual museum, modern exhibition about stuff related to Frankfurt. Kids enjoyed it very much!
