Good points:
It's in a fantastic location. It's a short walk from the city centre/nearest station, there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, and the park is directly across the road.

It's relatively cheap for the area (though see below).

Bad points:

The lift only allows one person at a time. I appreciate it's an older building but it does slow down the process of arriving/leaving with luggage.

The rooms could be a bit cleaner. There were some stains on the dining table and bathroom wall - they looked like bright coloured ink.

The walls between apartments are paper thin! Even a standard conversation can be heard in the next room, and pray your neighbours aren't playing loud music.

Other points:

There's an onsite spa that we didn't use so can't comment on.

The reception is only staffed 8am to 10pm Monday to Friday. Outside those hours you need to call a number provided on the door. This wasn't a huge inconvenience, but did give us a bit of a delay checking out.

The hotel could have been cleaner. The corners generally had a bit of dust and stuff gathered, the sheets had small stains, there was gathered lint in some of the bedding. Some of the kitchen cabinets didn't open cleanly. The worse was the AC unit though. It didn't do anything to cool the room. It was a very hot and uncomfortable night. Even sleeping with no sheets it never got cool enough in the bed room to sleep. Just due to the AC being unable to address the actual temp of the room resulting in a very poor night's sleep, bottom line - a hotel should be able to offer a room you can sleep in. This hotel did not.

Horrible. Loud music. Loud neighbors in the hotel rooms. No control over the hotel.

The location was fine! Right in downtown area. The bath was clean! You could even smell the cleaning product still!
The hotel looked fine from the outside, but as soon as we walked in, we were not greeted friendly. The person behind the counter was unfriendly and did not enjoyed his work at all! The moment we've walked into the hallway to access our room, we've encountered a smell of old cigarette, which maybe was inside of the wall, but a small amount of paint could do the job. The same smell was inside the room!! The room was old and not cleaned thoroughly! The floor was still dirty (our feet were dirty after walking inside a few meters), there was a towel with bloodstains, the hairdryer was somehow sticky (don't ask) and the breakfast was cheap! The scrambled eggs were even drained in some sort of liquid (see foto), the coffee was simply coffee syrup mixed with hot water, the rolls were like rubber and all the butter was molten!! The staff kept being short answered... A simple smile does not cost a thing but would make the experience feel a bit better!

Top location, on a peaceful street, though. The appartment was clean. Washing machine, fridge, etc. were available all the time. The breakfast covers all major needs and more (incl. variety of breads, salmon and shrimps, which was unexpected, indeed).

Great if you have a family (we have a 1 year old). Reasonable kitchen, good bed. Samnsung tv you can plug your laptop in too and a good buffet breakfast that you can take back to your suite. In a lovely part of town. Will be back. Due to renovations, we needed to carry our push chair to the lift, which was an annoyance.
