I would give zero stars to STA in Germany if possible. I'm not purchasing from STA Germany any longer. Highly nonchalant, incompetent service that costs passengers a lot of extra money in the end. Extremely rude, impolite and unhelpful telephone service when you are in an emergency situation. They didn't assist at all in a very urgent situation. The difference in service I received between STA Australia / New Zealand / UK and STA in Germany was massive. STA Australia / NZ contact passengers before the flight to check everything is okay, to double check ticket and if they can do anything for you. Here I just got an incorrect ticket that didn't allow me to fly, a grunt and very curt, short responses on the phone, with the "customer service" representative talking over the top of me in a very direct, aggressive, sarcastic tone. STA Bonn wouldn't help regarding another ticket because it wasn't purchased in Bonn. The manager there also had quite a direct tone and cut off my sentences while talking. Massively impolite in many Western cultures. Wanted me out of the shop asap because I wasn't purchasing anything there. Please train your STA staff in Germany regarding customer service and politeness towards customers. Customers are the reason why your staff have jobs and are paid for this every month, and how your company makes money. I really don't know why STA bother having offices in Germany if they don't display the same customer service that is demonstrated by this chain in other countries, and additionally if they can't help international STA travellers because the ticket wasn't bought at their office. I have sent a detailed complaint to the international STA headquarters. Unacceptable by a long shot. Never again.
