Nice location, friendly staffs and good services. It is not cheap especially the drinks but I won’t use over-priced as you have to consider the area and it is surrounded by nature. Food is average but cake is really tasty, again it is relatively pricy. I see quite some complaints on services, I guess I am lucky that always being served nicely. Actually weekday breakfast is really great, very few people and quite relaxing.

The location is really pretty and the service is nice and fast.
The food was all really good, especially the dessert, the raspberry chocolate cake which was delicious and suitable for gluten intolerant people.
The water is a bit too expensive, 0.75L costs 8.75€.

Very idyllic place with an outside seating right next to the beautiful greenery of the Palmengarten botanical garden. It’s a bit up class, expensive place with an older crowd. Nevertheless, we had a fantastic time after our afternoon stroll in the gardens. No issues with the staff as they were helpful and polite to us.

We ordered a glass of sparkling wine, which was a bit overpriced (10 € each!) and had a couple of cakes (around 6€ each) to try as the kitchen was closed around 4 pm. All of them were absolutely delicious and also quite big so be careful not to order too many!

Siesmayer cafe can be entered either from the street or the Palmgarten, which is super convenient.

Staff were friendly and overall the quality of the cakes was really good! They do have a few vegan cake options as well which is great. But as stated in many other reviews the prices are rather high and the portions small (the pieces of cake pictured were about 6€ each and my 0,2l water was roughly 4€). The view on the Palmengarten is nice and they were able to provide an English menu!

2.5 stars - wasted potential

Service is reminiscent of an inner city gas station, Coffee is horrible and the cake is decent.

The issue here is the service:
such an idyllic location, surrounded by greenery and beautiful people without the service to match it.

It is really unfortunate and a missed opportunity for Siesmayer as I do believe the potential is there.

Will not be going back nor recommending it to anyone.

The food is quite good, waiters are friendly but the quantity is quite small and it’s a tiny bit pricy.

As someone who enjoyed the cakes from this place, we came for the first time to dine in.

Cakes are still very good but we were disappointed with the service.

The attitude and the tone of the lady who was allocating the tables were unprofessional and unpleasant.

Kids are not welcome at all.

It took 20 minutes to order and additional 25 min to get the order.

Not worth a dime.
