My favorite Italian restaurant in Frankfurt with very good price performance ratio. There are quite some Isoletta nowadays with different focuses and this one is specialized in seafood fine dining. Baby squid and Burrata is a must order. Their steak with truffle is also super tasty. Service is always great, although during beginning of post Covid time it’s relatively slow but it is understandable.

Excellent menu selection and food. My family and I ate here and we absolutely loved it. Outdoor seating options were plentiful and the ambiance in June was amazing. I loved the Sicilian influence in the food. I will definitely come back here.

This place has really declined in the years since my last visit. We were virtually surrounded by flies (see pics)! Food was mediocre, I’d say less than standard for the price. Bolognese meat was dry like sawdust. Filet steak with Barolo sauce was over cooked. Sauce was the only saving grace. Caprese appetizer was something nothing special, tomatoes were subpar. I could have eaten better at home with minimum effort.
But the most inexcusable part of the experience was the excessive number of flies on and near our table.

We had invited our guests to this restaurant and the staff went above and beyond in terms of hospitality, we were a big group so they managed to perfectly curate a fantastic menu with shared plates for all three courses, paired with a great selection of wine as well. Highly recommended

Fantastic restaurant in a beautiful original building, food was curated for our group and we absolutely loved every single one. We had the whole grilled fish which is highly highly recommended, thank you for hosting us

I understand it is a busy place but when the waiter was drawn away to another table because his colleague messed up while taking our order and didn't return leaving us with the menus I was a bit confused. So ten minutes after I asked if they received the order which they had (they must have read my mind not wanting deserts). I enquired about the water with ice. In the meantime four people left because they had been waiting for well over an hour. 40 minutes after ordering my boyfriend got his water (no ice, they ran out), I didn't. Food arrived almost an hour after ordering and asking four times where it was. My pinsa was indeed very tasty but the spaghetti my boyfriend ordered had cold meat in it. When I complained about the bad service I got a "I am only human" and the waiter kept talking over me not allowing me to explain what it was that bothered me as he clearly didn't care. Because he was so loud and unapologetic, more guests walked out. He said in a sulky way we don't need to pay which wasn't the point was trying to make.
I hope you don't need to explain in English why service is terrible. They only speak Italian and German.

Waiter was obnoxious and rude, food was regular, the Bitburger Raddler beer was good.
