Good drinks and location but I don’t like the smoking. Would be so much better without. Also the door can be super rude

Great drinks made by REAL bartenders. Nice atmosphere. Jenny from the service was super helpful. I didn’t complain but I said it’s a pity that they don’t serve the hot lava cake in the restaurant anymore, when we went to the bar and she managed to talk to the chef and get me that delicious piece of heaven ????

restaurant: the ambiance and deco is very friendly. Staff is smiling and attentive to your needs.
Food is excellent, not a single comment about the food. It’s just magnificent!! The staff however needs a training on some points. When we didn’t ordered a starter, the waiter took our forks and knifes and used it (while we were looking) to set the empty table next to us! I couldn’t believe my eyes. We used the forks to put some lemon in our water. When we pointed out to him that it’s not done to reuse flatware like this he looked at us if we were annoying. When we explained that we used the flatware, he was relieved that we warned him. But he didn’t realised it’s not done and he should never do this again. Same as the girl cutting bread in the restaurant and eating pieces while preparing the breadbaskets.

We went to the bar 2 nights in a roll. The first night, a guy at the place told us that there was some technical issue so it was closed. He also suggested us to come back the next day. So we went back the next day, a lady politely rejected us as we needed to do a reservation first. So we went back without being able to get into the bar for 2 consecutive nights.

I totally understand if we need to book first due to the covid regulations. However, it would be so helpful if the guy told us on the first night that we should have done so. I felt that we just wasted our time….Very disappointing.

Wanted to go for a few drinks as the bar tender of my hotel at “Le Meridien recommended this bar…I think it was around midnight when I went to Roomers bar and was denied entry due to no reservation, which I usually would understand. What I don’t understand is that ppl infront and after me were allowed to enter with no reservation as well. I’m a Gold Bonvoy Member and would actually think that this counts sth. as Roomers is part of Marriot Group.

Anyway, the lady was friendly in her rejection and the place was crowded, so I guess it’s a good location. Maybe they dont want single drinkers there which is sad for a hotel bar as us business traveller are often coming to places like that to relax

They won't let you in unless you pay them. Very strange for a group of business folks
