Loved the meal there so much ( pork schnitzel with onions/ steak with fried potatoes) that we decided to go again a few days later with a friend . On that occasion we ate veal schnitzel and our friend said it was the best schnitzel he had eaten in Germany !
The owner of this restaurant makes sure the guests eat fresh produce and everything is cooked from scratch.
I would recommend that you book in advance as this place is rather popular with the locals.

The Restaurant zur Traube is somewhat hidden in a side street and has a sheltered outdoor area. All dishes, rump steak with potato rösti, neck steak in thyme sauce with fried potatoes and a schnitzel in pepper cream sauce with fries were delicious.
We gladly accepted the invitation to a delicious cream of potato soup. We were definitely not here for the last time :-)

Zu Dritt haben wir bei 35 Grad im Schatten nach einem Restaurant gesucht mit der Möglichkeit im Freien zu Essen. Das Restaurant zur Traube liegt etwas versteckt in einer Seitenstraße und hat einen geschützten Außenbereich. Alle Gerichte, Rumpsteak mit Kartoffelrösti, Nackensteak in Thymiansoße mit Bratkartoffeln und ein Schnitzel in Pfefferrahmsoße mit Pommes, waren super lecker.
Die Einladung zu einer leckeren Kartoffelcremesuppe haben wir gerne angenommen. Wir waren bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal hier :-)

Leider sehr lieblos. Der Salat mit Pute bestand aus einer Hand voll Eisberg Salat, 2 Scheiben Gurke und 2 Scheiben Tomate und etwas Putenbrust. Ohne Brot oder ähnliches. Dafür 14€… finde ich schon sehr ambitioniert.
Beim Schnitzel ähnlich lieblos… ein Stück Fleisch, Pommes drüber und fertig. Keine Zitrone dabei. Die dazu bestellte Pfefferrahm Sauce, schmeckte leider sehr nach fertig Sauce gemischt mit Balsamico. Wirklich schade.

Heute waren wir zum ersten Mal im Restaurant "Zur Traube". Dem Restaurant eilt ein positiver Ruf voraus.

Wir hatten zunächst für sieben Personen reserviert, mussten dann kurzfristig wegen Krankheit auf fünf Personen reduzieren. Die Reduzierung wurde bedauernd aber freundlich respektiert.

Das Essen, Gänsebraten mit Rotkohl und Klößen sowie einer großen Portion Rosenkohl und vorherige Suppe, war hervorragend. Die Bedienung ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns bestens bewirtet gefühlt.

Einzig das Ambiente fanden wir ein wenig schlicht. Eine Tischdecke z.B. hätte das hervorragende Essen noch besser unterstrichen.

Wir kommen gerne wieder. Der gute Ruf eilt dem Restaurant zu recht voraus.
