Food 5 Stars, service 1 stars. This is a great Hunan cuisine restaurant in the heart of Frankfurt. Typical Chinese restaurant atmosphere. We tried 辣子鸡丁 (Lazijiding) and it was awesome!! Surprisingly, without bones! Which is rather not authentic but for me as a non Chinese I enjoyed it a lot since I didn't have to worry to get hurt by the tiny bones. Be careful if you are not used to eat spicy food. Hunan cuisine is supposed to be really spicy!

Since we couldn't eat up everything we took it 打包 (in a doggy bag) and asked for little more rice. And there it happened!!!! The elderly lady which was the only waiter at evening just took the left over rice from a table next of us and packed it together with ours and charged an additional euro for the extra rice. Sorry but this is a no go.

Anyway the food is still great and I don't know and I don't even want to know what weird and disgusting stuff happens behind closed doors or walls at some other restaurants...

5 stars for both, the food and the service! We had a stopover in Frankfurt and were looking forward to a good Chinese meal. The host is very friendly and recommended good dishes. The food was super delicious. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend it.

Have no idea why this place is not very crowded. I come from Hunan and I can vouch for the authenticity of the food. Really well executed indeed. But quite spicy so beware (which is sign of authenticity btw

You can enjoy very authentic Chinese Hunan cuisines here. I love the meals a lot and will definitely come back. However, most of dishes are really spicy, and it would be nice if they ask us to select degree of spiciness (sharpness) for each dish. This would help increase customers as most of western people especially cannot accept this level of spiciness including my German and Spanish colleagues.

Each time I got sooooo thirsty from the food although it’s delicious. There’s way too much MSG and salt. The taste won’t be impaired if there is no MSG and less salt. Please be confident in your cooking skills okay?

Also, the relatively young waitress was (probably intentionally) unaware of hygiene issues, and behaved rude after we pointed that out. She even charged us three euros for additional rice, which, from my previous experience is free of charge at this place.

Just hope they can improve…

The food was excellent with an attentive lady. We arrived hungry and left full and satisfied. Will definitely come again for authentic Hunan food!!!
