I have never seen Puttu (Puttu (Malayalam: പുട്ട്; Tamil: புட்டு; Sinhala: පිට්ටු) (pronounced [ˈputtu]), alternatively spelled pittu (Tamil: பிட்டு), is a dish native to the South Indian states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and parts of Karnataka, as well as Northern Province in Sri Lanka. Puttu means "portioned" in Tamil and Malayalam. It is made of steamed cylinders of ground rice layered with coconut shavings, sometimes with a sweet or savory filling on the inside -source wiki ) in a Menu in Germany ( Malayalis please help me Incase I missed something ) before. Homely prepared authentic food and spicy ( yes not the Germanised Indian food) Tamil food. You can meet lots of Indian migrant families here that’s the clue for “ real good „. Try and enjoy!

Really good, authentic and cheap south Indian food. Also they have items like iddiyappam, puttu, kotthu roti which I doubt you get anywhere else in the city. The Medu vada and butter masala dosa were great. Ambience could be better. Would definitely return!

Excellent dosa: tasty and big (plus very fair price). Indian couple sitting next to me confirmed this is best dosa in Frankfurt.

I visited this restaurant once and it was good. I tried veg biryani. It was a bit more oily but the food was tasty. Bit expensive as well with compared to other hotels nearby. My friend ordered chicken curry and he complained that they had made it too spicy even when he asked for medium spicy. So average rating.

The only good thing about this restaurant is Idly Sambar combo. Unfriendly staff. Zero points on cleanliness. The chicken curry tasted very poor. It was salted way too much as if to hide how old it is. Never again!!
