From my understanding this is North Chinese cuisine. Interesting experience, a bit of a self service experience where the waiter threw a pad and pencil down on the table with no instructions. Very little guidance or direction, I assumed this was a local place but definitely didn't feel welcome, the whole idea was to write your own order down. I was with someone of Chinese origin, however I still experienced what I would call a hostile environment. I later learned from my friend who was with me that it is very normal.
This place does not understand the concept of vegetarianism, so if you're vegetarian I would seriously avoid this place unless you wish to eat contaminated food.
I ordered a vegetarian noodle soup, checking with the waiter that this was vegetarian, who confirmed it was. On arrival it had an egg in the soup and was made in a chicken stock broth ????.
When the waiter was questioned he said it is vegetarian as there is no meat in it, and explained the chicken is not meat...
The BBQ mushrooms I ordered came on a tray with frog legs, which I did not even order...
Overall this is a small family run business and clearly very authentic so I wasn't that put off, as well as being incredibly hungry as I had not eaten all day.
It did however feel like I was eating in their front room, and I did feel like a hindrance until it came to payment time.
I can't recommend this restaurant based on my experience, the flavour of the food was average and they totally got the order wrong.

Authentic Chinese BBQ and noodle restaurant. I lived in China for a year and it taste just like from the street food vendors in Xiamen and Guangdong.
If your in a group (preferably a big one) then get a variety of BBQ sticks, couple of beer bottles and enjoy the food. The noodles are freshly made and have chewy texture. The noodle portions are quite big and the prices are quite low too.
The only downside is the slow service and the "authentic" vibe.

That was good especially the homemade dumplings. Very kind staff. Definitely recommend it. Come early when they just opened it as it tends to be busier after 12:30

Absolutely love this place. Really authentic Chinese cuisine with great dumplings ???? and bbq dishes. Definitely not a fancy place but I love it anyways. Grab a chair on the street, eat with your hands and just enjoy.

Fun, authentic and tasty chinese grill. The boss is a lively and friendly person. The food tastes great, especially the lamb skewers. The place is very small, but makes for a cozy dining experience.

We loved it. Authentic Chinese. A lot of handmade and good food. Same as other little street restaurants in China. If you are missing it, you will enjoy it
