Good steak, nice service and high standard restaurant, but our last visit was uncomfortable. Waiter recommended a starter to share since we have 4 people, we agreed without asking the price. We also order steaks, everything were tasty. But when we received the bill, the starter costs 120€ (the most expensive single starter on the menu is ca. 20€). Possibility we had more stuffs but still, it feels like hard oversell. Will only go to the one on Freßgass or not at all… so pity.

Got the wrong streak (pepper crust instead of blue cheese). When pointing this out, they just brought me a cheese sauce which didn't pair with the pepper crust at all. Additionally, the meat was way way under. When pointing this out, they took away my steak and said that the kitchen is closed now and I won't be getting a new one. The steak was still listed with full price on the bill and I had to argue with the staff for like 20 minutes only to then pay full price. Left very angered and won't be visiting any of their places in the future.

This was terribly handled.

Edit: This was a bit ago, May this year, at the branch in the JUNGHOFSTRASSE. So I did indeed select the wrong branch for the review. It was late in the night and I wasn't too angry about the steak not being good (or the kitchen being closed). Charging me full price is what is angering me. Mind you, our bill totaled way above 500€.

One of the cleanest inside restaurant with the worst food I have had in Frankfurt since I have been here. Fresh cream cheese and bread was good. Steak was ice cold in the center. Told waiter to feel and he did and admitted it was cold. He took the steak to the back after touching with gloves he had been cleaning with and a little later he brought it black and charred. Cesear salad the worse I have ever had. I will not be eating here ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!

A nice cosy steakhouse.
The food was excellent. I really loved my filet steak????.
Service was also good.
Prices for the sides (we had fries, mushrooms) for what one gets are really exaggerated.

Absolutely loved the steak here, very friendly service and staff went above and beyond. Steak was exactly how I requested and could not fault the food in any way. Amazing ambience and overall lovely experience.

This is a very expensive place, great food and great service. My wife can't say I never take her to fancy places. The bill was €80 plus tip. If you take your girlfriend there, you really love her. I had a steak and my wife had a soup. We both had Diet Cokes. It's going to be a while before we go back there. My wife and I still talk about the food. We could have eaten in three places for that much or bought our own cow.

If you want the best experience, order one of the dry aged steaks. The best you'll ever experience in Frankfurt. Service is impeccable, atmosphere is great. 4 stars, only because a good cut in the States is like no other... Since I currently live in Frankfurt, this is my usual place when I need good American cut beef. No one else in Frankfurt can compare...
