I have to give this place a five star rating simply because I had one of my best consert experiences ever here. It's a small place, I'd estimate about 100 in the crowd, perhaps less. No food and the beer is subpar but on the other hand you can get right up close and personal with the band. I had the good fortune to see Jon and Roy and they made my evening.

Good environment, I had fun. I am very sorry for two drunk guys who kept on pushing me and annoying my gf, and look for fighting. The security lacks. Drinks are good, and the bar staff is very kind

Tonight I wanted to go inside Ponyhof and the bouncers told me that they can't let me in because there's a private party. It is rude to tell someone there is a private party when there is a concert that you announced on your media outlets. I find it impolite and ugly. If you don't want to let someone in, just say "we don't want to let you in".
I wish I could give less than a star :(

Ponyhof is where you go to see some obscure label band or performance. It's where you go to meet people who are as weird and wonderful as you are. It's where you start, spend, or end your night. In short, you haven't been to Frankfurt if you haven't been here at least once.
