Very interesting and historically important place. Has a very nice museum with some very valuable items. The inside of it is amazing too. Probably the best that I have been to in Germany.

If you’re in Frankfurt, I recommend that you come here for a short visit. You can take the U Bahn to get there and get off at Dom/Römer. Usually the tower is open but they are currently renovating it. If you are actually able to go up to the tower do it! Unfortunately it’s closed until 2022. It costs a couple of euros but you simply go to the top and have the most breathtaking view of Frankfurt. You have to go up a ton of stairs and if you are uncomfortable with small spaces then I don’t recommend it. The inside of the cathedral is nice too but since the tower is closed I only give it 4 stars.

Dom Römer is in the heart of Frankfurt city. There is a very beautiful church here. It's an old city few mins away from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. It's usually very crowded as there are a lot of small big shops in here . It's at walking distance from S Bahn/Ubahn Station Hauptwache. In Hauptwache there is a beautiful shopping street where you can find shops of almost every brand.
Main river front is just 2 mins walk from here. You can enjoy coffee , drinks , cakes and other indigenous delicacies in various shops.

Beautiful place. Also recommend visiting the tower if you're not afraid of narrow stairways and height. Really rewarding view of the city! ????

I was expecting a bit more. Even the lighting in the night is a bit poor.
