We wanted to experience some authentic German food where locals would go, our hotel concierge highly recommended this place. The food was amazing! Everything we had was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.

One of the best options for german food in Frankfurt! The restaurant looks much nicer and cozier than the the average german restaurant. Price is good and quality is amazing too!
Also the service was really quick! The dish I ordered was expected to take 30 minutes but we got the food only 5 minutes later!

Best German food in Frankfurt. It was super tasty and great service. The portion are fantastic. Handkäse was perfect.

The place is trying to put a modern spin to a traditional Apfelwein Restaurant. It is really cosy and has nice decor, as well as a great location. However the food was rather unimpressive - the schnitzel was very dry, the green sauce rather blant - all in all we were disappointed. There are more traditional places that offer a better good at lower prices.

Lovely hip decor - an Apfelwein joint with a modern twist.
Service was friendly and patient. Not common in most Apfelwein places.
We had the Frankfurter Schnitzel with fried potatoes- delicious!
And 3 different Hessische Tapas - interesting...mini sausages with mash potatoes,
Wurstsalat (not my favourite as it was bland) and grüne Sosse. Served with very fresh, tasty bread.
All in all a lovely evening in a nice ambiance - not too posh and not too basic!

The omnivore food may be high quality, but the vegan/vegetarian options are pretty thin on the ground and not great.
I expect more from a restaurant in this price range, even if vegan customers are a (small) minority.

Also, the espresso was pretty bad (just a pet peeve of mine). Watery.
