Have lunch in Block house.
It has many good comments; therefore, I went to try it.
The staffs are really decent with charming smile.
The steak is normal but a little bit expensive.
Besides, service fee is included.
I reckon I won’t have it anymore.

Overall good experience.

TLDR
Good Steaks, but not the best.
The price fits the quality.
The service is decent.

It's a steak house so you will mainly find meat.
Next to the expected steak variant,s you can also order burgers.
We went between lunch and dinner (we call it linner ;) ). The place was not empty but nearly.
1 waitress, so we waited a minute at the door to get checked.The Interior is as expected clean and functional, nothing special to mention.
It seems there was a shift change and more and more employees showed up so that the food and drinks came at a good pace.

- Mrs Rumpsteak
- RIB-EYE Mastercut

The Rumpsteak won the round for us. Good meat and on point grilled.
The Rib eye was not my taste at all, but that could be subjective.

Block house baguette is always nice and the baked potato was as expected (nothing special about that).

The salad which comes before the steaks was drowned in dressing, so I made a mental note to not forget to always ask for the dressing on the side.

The dessert cheesecake is ok, but I would not point it out as something special.

Less than stellar presentation of a $30 steak, cooked well, no complaints there. Service was nonexistent they were just short of throwing the food at me. I don't know if this is normal or if they rarely service black men. Either way the steak was good but not good enough to return.

Great place for American style steaks. Basic fare: meat and potatoes. The complimentary mixed salad is a welcomed addition. The picture says it all... good to the finish!

Unsurprisingly, for a steak house, the steak tasted great. Disappointingly, the baked potato with sour cream that came with the steak, was actually bigger than the steak. Friendly staff and a tasty steak would have meant 4 stars, if only the steak had been a bit bigger, more like the picture on the menu.

Visited there 6th May 22 with my wife and service was non existent, sat on the terrace for about five minutes, unsure if it was waiter service so I went into the restaurant and was told that it was indeed waiter service, went back outside and waited for ten minutes until the waitress arrived with the menu, this was handed over and we weren't asked if we wanted any drinks whilst we were deciding what to order, that was the last we saw of our waitress, we waited another ten minutes - still no waitress?? We left the restaurant and went to the burger house next door where the food and the service were excellent

Mixed reviews of the place.
Crowd: amazing! Always crowded. We barely got a table in the middle of the week.
Staff: courteous. Nice! Has recommendations. And speaks good English.
Steak: above average. Was a little let down though.
Salad: bad.
Tiramisu: above Average.
Food is 3/5. Overall 4/5.
