I had LASIK operation done at Artemis Klinik in Frankfurt and it has been a very good experience. The medical stuff is friendly, they speak English and explain the process. Appointments were pretty easy to schedule and the waiting times were kept to a minimum. The facility is clean and bright.

Called the clinic but each time that i call them a girl hanged up the call. Probably she didn't know how to speak English. I'm very frustrated with this kind of attitude.

I came across the Artemis Clinic through the internet and made a non-binding appointment for the first examination to see if I was even a candidate for laser surgery.
This was the case for me because there were no special features. The examiner was able to take my fear of the lasers away from the first interview and I was comprehensively informed about the further procedure. I also made an appointment for the laser (Lasik method) for the end of February so as not to back down. Scheduling an appointment was no problem.
In the second step before the procedure itself, I was examined more extensively and Dr. Löblich explained everything to me in detail and answered all my questions in detail.
Before the procedure on the day itself I was understandably super nervous but I was welcomed by the staff and Dr. Löblich reassured me and every single step was explained to me. I wanted that myself. I have to say that the procedure itself was completely unspectacular, went very quickly and I was simply amazed that it was over by then. I got up from the lounger and could see clearly straight away (there was a clock on the wall), and was only sensitive to light. After that I was able to go home with special glasses and couldn't believe that I could see everything straight away. What did I think beforehand about how this would actually work.
I slept at home for a few hours, left it relatively dark or with twilight, and as I was accurately predicted, four hours later I could be lying on the couch with my eyes open and just seeing everything clearly.
The next day I went to the first follow-up examination and outside I did the test to see how sensitive I would be to light. But there was nothing. The whole time I thought that it couldn't have been that easy, that it was that and that I would now be free of the glasses. But it was like that. On examination everything was fine. A week later was the next check-up and then a month later there was one.
As I write this, I realize again what a change in quality of life that has been for me. It's now almost exactly 7 months ago and I already had a spring and summer without any glasses or contact lenses and meanwhile it has become an absolute matter of course not to need visual aids anymore, neither during the day nor at night. Absolutely liberating.
I can therefore unreservedly recommend the Artemis Clinic as the first point of contact for vision correction.

Da ich kurzsichtig war, wollte ich seit langer Zeit eine Sehkorrektur durch das Lasern vornehmen lassen, nur wusste ich nicht, wo man dies am besten tun sollte und hatte auch ordentlich Bammel davor. Im Januar 2022 kam dann der Entschluss, es endlich durchzuziehen (Brille und Maske gerade im Winter war dann letztlich der finale Anstoß). Auf die Artemisklinik bin ich durch das Internet gestoßen und habe einen unverbindlichen Termin zur ersten Untersuchung vereinbart, ob ich überhaupt zum Lasern in Betracht komme.
Dies war bei mir der Fall, da keine Besonderheiten vorlagen. Schon im ersten Gespräch konnte mir durch den Untersuchenden die Angst vor dem Lasern genommen werden und ich wurde umfassend über das weitere Vorgehen aufgeklärt. Ich habe auch gleich einen Termin zum Lasern (Lasik-Methode) für Ende Februar vereinbart, um keinen Rückzieher zu machen. Die Terminvereinbarung war unproblematisch möglich.
Im zweiten Schritt vor dem Eingriff selbst wurde ich umfangreicher untersucht und Herr Dr. Löblich hat mir alles genauestens erklärt und alle meine Fragen ausführlich beantwortet.
Vor dem Eingriff am Tag selbst war ich verständlicherweise super nervös, aber ich wurde vom Personal und von Dr. Löblich selbst beruhigt und jeder einzelne Schritt wurde mir erklärt. Das wollte ich auch selbst so. Ich muss sagen, dass der Eingriff selbst völlig unspektakulär war, sehr schnell ging und ich einfach baff war, dass es dann auch schon vorbei war. Ich richtete mich von der Liege auf und konnte sofort scharf sehen (an der Wand hing eine Uhr), war nur lichtempfindlich. Danach konnte ich mit einer speziellen Brille sofort nach Hause gehen und habe es nicht fassen können, dass ich sofort alles sehen kann. Was habe ich mir vorher für Gedanken gemacht, wie das tatsächlich ablaufen würde.
Ich schlief zu Hause paar Stunden, ließ es relativ dunkel oder mit Dämmerlicht und wie mir zutreffend vorher gesagt wurde, konnte ich vier Stunden später auf der Couch liegen und die Augen offen halten und einfach alles scharf sehen.
Am nächsten Tag ging es zur ersten Nachuntersuchung und draußen machte ich den Test, wie lichtempfindlich ich sein würde. Aber da war nichts. Die ganze Zeit dachte ich, dass es doch nicht so einfach gewesen sein kann, dass es das gewesen ist und ich nun von der Brille befreit sein würde. Aber es war so. Bei der Untersuchung war alles in Ordnung. Eine Woche später war die nächste Untersuchung und dann einen Monat später eine.
Während ich das schreibe wird mir wieder bewusst, welche Veränderung der Lebensqualität das doch für mich gewesen ist. Es sind nun fast genau 7 Monate her und ich hatte bereits einen Frühling und Sommer ohne jegliche Brille oder Kontaktlinsen und mittlerweile ist es zur absoluten Selbstverständlichkeit geworden, keine Sehhilfe mehr zu brauchen, weder tags noch nachts. Absolut befreiend.
Die Artemisklinik kann ich deshalb uneingeschränkt als erste Anlaufstelle für eine Sehkorrektur empfehlen.

All doctors were extremely friendly, competent and I always felt comfortable. I also feel that I am in good hands and well advised when it comes to aftercare appointments. They take their time and calmly answer all questions.
Less than a week after the operation I have 80% of the eyesight of a healthy person and before that I had -4 dioptres. I assume it will be 100% in a few days.
If the need arises again in the future I will come back. :)

Ich wurde letzte Woche dort gelasert (LASEK) und bin sehr zufrieden!
Die Op verlief schnell, unkompliziert und schmerzfrei. Nur die ersten 2/3 Tage sind schon schmerzvoll aber mit den mitgegeben Schmerz-Mittel/-Tropfen auszuhalten.
Alle Ärzte waren äußerst freundlich, kompetent und ich habe mich stets wohl gefühlt. Auch bei den Nachsorge Terminen fühle ich mich gut aufgehoben und gut beraten. Sie nehmen sich Zeit und beantworten in Ruhe alle Fragen.
Nichtmal eine Woche nach der Op habe ich 80% der Sehstärke eines gesunden Menschen und ich hatte davor -4 Dioptrien. Ich gehe davon aus dass es in wenigen Tagen 100% sind.
Falls es in Zukunft nochmal nötig sein sollte werde ich wiederkommen. :)

Habe mir dort im März 2022 die Augen Lasern lassen. Habe mich wirklich von Beginn an sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt, es gibt viele Untersuchungen vor und nach der OP, was mir viel Sicherheit gegeben hat.
Ich hatte mega Angst vor der OP, aber vor Ort waren alle sehr nett und ruhig, so dass es am Ende gar nicht so schlimm war.
