We came there hoping to get the service described in the reviews. However we were very disappointed. We were seated right away and properly accommodated. However, by the time someone noticed that we finished filling in contact details, the table that came at the same time as us already got their drinks and ordered food, while we didn't even get the menus yet. Then the waiter came asking us if we ordered drinks to which we said 'how if no one even gave us the menus'. It took around 15 minutes from us getting seated to receiving the menus (and no, the restaurant wasnt full). We decided to not order the food but just get the drinks, as their service so far was way too slow. When we asked for the receipt, it took them around 10 minutes to deliver it (we were watching our waiter and apparently changing the ashtrays, telling funny stories with the guests who weren't even ordering anything else buy just eating and talking took priority).

Super rude and impolite stuff. They spoil the whole image about the place. When you try to tell them politely that being rude with the guests who ordered a lot is not a good way to do service they argue and being extremely rude. We weren’t drunk, we were not loud. They only problem was that one of us ordered extra food at 10.03 pm while kitchen closed at 10 (waiting for the waiter coming for 10 min before to take and order) and before the company of four was blamed hardly for sitting at table and only ordering drinks, not food. While there were many free tables and no line to enter the restaurant.
Not recommended to visit if you don’t want your mood to be spoiled

High quality food, creative and surprising dishes beyond any cliché. Very good wine selection and the personnel is very competent at providing good suggestion and recommendations for wine combination. The personnel is highly professional, very friendly and very discreet and polite at the same time... it might seem that such a thing is obvious... and yet it is not to take for granted, frankfurt is full of gastronomy at good level were the staff is not up to the task, or simply rude.
We were often eating at the Goldmann and we have never been disappointed. We chose the place for our wedding party for 50 people, the staff at Goldmann literally devoted their best at ensuring the party was a big success: top menú, alluring wine, clockwork efficient service. The restaurant manager, Pino, understood and fulfilled our wishes and our guests went home utterly enthused by the night, for most of them was a surprise. A pleasant one. The decoration of the restaurant is peculiar. Guests sits in relax in a cosy yet originally elegant atmosphere.
The price is fairly reflecting the level of quality. We did not find it overpriced at all, in contrary, the only surprise I got on the price was to discover that the final one, was even less than the price initially agreed. Honestly If one wants to eat cheap, should rather pick another place. But if you want to eat, drink and feel good, picking this restaurant will likely set you to the path to satisfaction. Thanks.

Superior, upmarket kitchen where great quality comes at a price. Extremely comfortable ambience, tasteful surroundings, competent and attentive service - nothing to disappoint - on the contrary: a fail-safe location for a business or a special lunch/dinner. Go there!

Goldman is one of my favourite restaurants in Frankfurt. It successfully combines a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with a high quality gastronomic experience. The staff are very trained and friendly, they know how to serve you without being an interference when dining. They are however always there should you need something.

I organised the xmas party for 50 people this year in Goldman and it was fantastic. The organisation before the event was very easy and uncomplicated, and on the evening everything went like clockwork.

I can highly recommend this place!

Food is good (generally speaking bit too salty) but somehow a bit overpriced... Drinks quite expensive. Friendly service.

To be honest I was quite disappointed with the service and food in this restaurant. The prices they have on their menu raise expectations to services they really are not able to provide.
