Re my stay 30/31.01.2020
I was appalled by standard, dirt, stains on every possible surface and to be asked to pay deposit for room that is far from perfect.
Person in reception was not helpful, or pleasant. After long day of training and traveling it was last thing I wanted to do, argue and change room 3 times, to land in rooms that are just as bad or worse. Hair in showers turned my stomach.
I wanted to go out and have relaxing dinner, instead I had to carry over 30kg luggage up and down from one room to another.

I was supposed to stay one night. I called the hotel several time in the afternoon to announce my late check-in, but I got no answer or found the line busy. I showed up just before 10pm and I was told that no rooms were available due to a water leakage -- but I suspect they just sold my room. I was given a room in another hotel (Am Zoo), which I had to reach at my own expense, and with all the related inconvenience (I had an appointment in town later). I did not argue because I was tired and in a hurry. The other hotel was extremely basic and with a depressing, grim look. The room was not very clean; I found a long hair in the sink left by the previous customer (and evidently left there by the cleaners). The sink was in the middle of the bedroom, while the toilet and the shower were in a tiny bathroom. I was charged 4.20 EUR for a bottle of water and the wi-fi was not included. Apart from the significant inconvenience, for the price I paid (around 70 GBP) I got very little. I survived, but I was very disappointed by how my booking was managed.

Not recommended for long term. Internet not working at peak time. Just one washing machine for the whole hotel, while the other was broken all the time.
Cleaning below average.
Staff: some try their best and are really helpful, while others look annoyed when people ask questions.
OK for very short stays.

In spite of not being exactly in the center, I have to say I was nicely surprised by this hotel.
The rooms were big as the bathroom, however the wifi on my room was not that good. I could onlt get signal on the bathroom. But that will be my only complaint.
I liked to have a kitchen in the room as sometimes you just don't want to get out for dinner and you can bring something and prepare it here, even if it is just heating it up.

Very old design, the floor is smelling and in some cases it is dirty. In addition, the breakfast is overrated, given that you can find much better places in close distance. Finally they wanted to charge me 350 euro for losing a key, without having another one!!!

Very bad and not considarated cancellation policy.
They charged bus for full period: 7 nights even thay we cancelled the first night. This was done for 7 travellers. It cost us 1600$ .
I will never book in this hotel again.

We had a clean room, instead of a camp bed we got a normal one, which obviously was nice and the location was okay. It is not located centrally as going to the city by foot takes 30mins, public transport is about 20 mins with actual public transport of 3 mins; the rest is walking time. What really bugged us though, was that we activated a coupon of 5 euros when we booked the room online. Before we left the hotel, I was asked to pay for the camp bed but what we did not notice til that point was that I had to pay 5 euros more than claimed on the website. Up to this day I did not get any replies whatsoever neither to my phone calls (i always get told they need to talk to their boss at a later point in time cuz he supposedly is not there) nor to my emails of which i have sent multiple ones. I am not even angry at the fact that i might not get my 5 euros back but that they don't even bother answering me.
